Sandra Baird

Sandra Baird has been a teacher for 28 years, teaching English and Special Education. She believes that in order for children to learn they must be active and having fun. She has designed many creative approaches to learning that have made loads of students who were struggling in school become successful learners. She has always been driven by a passion for teaching and learning, for new and fresh ideas. She designed The Smarter In Minutes series of word puzzles and word scrambles to help kids ages 8-12 to improve their spelling and vocabulary while have loads of fun. She added to each book a series of "kid friendly" recipes that are time tested favorites which give the kids practice reading and following directions while creating tasty treats for their friends and families. She hopes that adults and kids will enjoy the books together laughing, learning and creating memories!
