Gail Green

Buffalo Grove author/illustrator Gail Green is published in both YA and adult non-fiction. She is the author/illustrator of ANIMALS AND TEENS: THE ULTIMATE TEEN GUIDE (Scarecrow Press, February 2009) and 2 “how-to” craft books. A passionate animal lover, she is also the creative mastermind for the “Sweet PETatoes” brand seen on products nationwide.Green is a skilled presenter specializing in classroom/small group programs, presentations and workshops about animals and a variety of creative topics including drawing enrichment, craft techniques and licensing. Green has taught classes and presented programs to home and public school groups, scout troops and private groups in NW Chicago suburbia and trade shows nationwide. Green’s dynamic presentations empower her audience to develop their creative abilities while also helping children of all ages celebrate the wonder of the human-animal bond.
