Brian Tracy is a Canadian-American motivational speaker and self-help author. He is known for his personal and professional growth books, including Eat That Frog! and The Psychology of Achievement.
Brian Tracy was born in Charlottetown, Canada, and graduated from the University of Alberta in Edmonton. His early career spanned sales, marketing, investment and property development. He later became the Chief Operating Officer of a $265 million development company.
Over the past thirty years, Tracy has researched and written about economics, history, business, philosophy, and psychology. He has written over eighty books, many of which have been translated into several languages. His Psychology of Achievement audio programme has been distributed worldwide in over 28 languages.
Tracy founded Brian Tracy International, a company focused on training individuals and companies in leadership, sales, goal setting and the psychology of success. He has spoken to corporate executives and public audiences on six continents, delivering seminars that promise immediate and long-term improvement.
His work emphasises discipline, strategy and self-motivation. "Successful people are simply those with successful habits," he has said, underlining his belief in the power of consistent effort.
Brian Tracy has travelled to 107 countries and speaks four languages. He is married with four children.
