Aurora Metro Publications is a leading independent publisher in London, run by owner-publisher Cheryl Robson. Established for over 30 years, with over 300 titles in print, Aurora Metro has published numerous award-winning authors, a Nobel prize winner and even the King of England.
Publisher Cheryl Robson has been shortlisted for the ITV National Diversity awards twice and Aurora Metro has been shortlisted for the IPG National Diversity awards twice, as a company. With sister company, the charity Aurora Metro Arts & Media, Cheryl Robson led the campaign and crowdfunding effort to fund and commission from sculptor Laury Dizengremel, the only bronze life size statue of English novelist Virginia Woolf in the UK. Cheryl Robson arranged for descendants of Leonard and Virginia Woolf to unveil the statue on Richmond riverside in November 2022. The event was covered by press and tv.
Aurora Metro includes the Supernova Books non-fiction imprint and since summer 2023, the Amber Lane Press Classic Drama imprint.
All three are based in Richmond at the Books on the Rise bookstore and art gallery.
