time I think it would be better to be
fools together, than sensible without you.

The Softest Blue

I know you’re not supposed to look
to other people to save you, but
whenever I’m around you, the world
becomes simple. My moods lift and
the skies shift from smoke and smog
to the softest blue.

I know I’m meant to save myself,
but the fact is, with you, I don’t have to.

Don’t exhaust energy trying to
fight the current. Instead, have a little
faith, surrender control, and trust in
the journey.

Why should a relationship mean
settling down? Wait it out for someone
who won’t let life escape you, who’ll
challenge you and drive you toward
your dreams. Someone spontaneous
you can get lost in the world with.

A relationship, with the right
person, is a release, not a restriction.

The Riot

I cannot be still for long. There is a
riot in me all the time. A needy, restless
voice in my heart endlessly urging me
onward. I ache for new experiences and
my hunger for adventure is boundless.

My entire life is a perpetual loop
of longing for something else.

A sincere and positive impact will
last a lifetime, even if the relationship
does not.

Lead me down through the
labyrinth of your true, spectacular self.

Chemistry might bring two people
together, but it is quiet, consistent,
everyday effort that makes a relationship
