Muhammad Taqi Ja'fari is a well-known scholar who has written 41 books in addition to his 15-volume interpretation of Rumi’s, Mathnavi, and a 27-volume translation and interpretation of the Nahj-ul-balaqah.

Mr. Ja'fari's progress in his field was so spectacular that he was conferred with the greatest degree of jurisprudence by the age of 23. Mr. Ja'fari’s other major works contain his most important thoughts and ideas in the fields of anthropology, sociology, moral ethics, philosophy, and mysticism.     But studying the matter more precisely and in a more comprehensive manner, we come to the conclusion that the basic ground of these rights, like every other special right, is preventing people from the violation of their fellow human beings’ rights through revealing the excessive nature of human desires. Although this ground is a thoroughly logical reason and in one sense the only way to preventing human destructive conflicts, it should not be forgotten that if this is the main reason for the codification of these rights, it would be a matter of shame for humanity if the value of such declarations is reduced to a compulsory effect.
