Centuries ago the ancients created a magical game board, The Fydchell, which they intended to use to control the chaos that existed on earth. But the board also possessed a darker possibility and in the wrong hands could be used to create the very chaos that it sought to eliminate. Intent on gaining control over all of the land, King Rhodarchus has set the board in evil motion, with the help of the all-powerful, sorcerer, Llyhr. But Llyhr has his own devious ends in mind as he seeks to eliminate the barrier that separates the supernatural spirits from the other worlds from entering earth. The wizened old sorcerer, Emrys, is mindful of the plans of Rhodarchus and Llyhr, but he cannot match their legions of enchanters and warriors on his own. Thus with an army assembled, he turns to Bron, the Leader of Warriors, to thwart the efforts of King Rhodarchus and Llyhr, but will it be possible to prevent the disastrous endgame from passing?
