Professional ballroom dancer Lesedi Moatlegi who dreams of owning her own dance studio has looked after her sister, Karabo, ever since their mother died. Her dance partner, Nicholas, is her perfect match . . . but only on the dance floor. After six months of dating him, Lesedi discovers that Nicholas is an arrogant, chauvinist who sees her only as a “dance partner with benefits”. Incensed and disappointed, she chucks Nicholas out of her personal life, but is unfortunately bound by contract to dance with him. Meanwhile, a cheeky Karabo realises that her sister deserves a break from her role as provider and needs to finally move on from Nicholas and have some fun. When Karabo sees Tshepo Motsei in the audience at the Lesedi’s dance competition, she just knows he is the perfect candidate to put her sister out of her misery. She introduces herself to the investment banker, and sets a reluctant Lesedi up on a date with him. All Tshepo asks for is three dates with Lesedi to prove himself. But Lesedi has a penchant for complicating matters. Will she be able to embrace those aspects of her life that do not involve dancing and will she find love ever after? Or will her tendency to self-sabotage reassert itself . . . after three dates?
