Ynys Fadog is an ambitious epic portraying the story of a Welsh community in America. It depicts a panorama of events extending from 1818 to 1937, from a period bearing the flavour of the 18th century until the presidency of Franklin Roosevelt and the Great Depression of the 1930s.
