    Drinking warm milk before bed can help you relax and get to sleep because milk has tryptophan in it (the same stuff that makes us sleepy after eating turkey) and can help you get to sleep. Additionally, taking a warm bath can help your body relax, and using lavender or chamomile scented oils or candles can also help you sleep, since both scents have been associated with curing insomnia.
