Disclaimer: The following story is a child’s adaptation loosely based off of the events of Jonestown, led by cult leader Reverend Jim Jones. On November 18th, 1978, 909 individuals (one-third of them approximately being children) drank a concoction of Flavor-Aid laced with cyanide. This book in no way intends to offend others, and/or promote these practices. While initially intended as satirical dark humor, this short story both acknowledges and respects the lives lost, as well as those who escaped with dignity.
