Jim Ryan is a civil engineer living in Cork. A habitual mountain walker, he has climbed all over the world and has written extensively on his expeditions. His guide to Aconcagua and the Central Andes was published in 2004. Jim has a particular interest in geology and claims that his spiritual home is on the Reeks of Kerry.
