From Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaDavid Wilkinson is a British theologian and academic. He is the current Principal of St John's College, Durham, and a professor in the Department of Theology and Religion at Durham University. He is the author of several books on the relationship between science and religion, and a regular contributor to Thought for the Day on BBC Radio 4. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society.Prior to his arrival at Durham in 1999, he was a student at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge and a chaplain at the University of Liverpool.
