The harm experienced by our ancestors is felt in our bodies today, and the harm we create today will be experienced by our future generations tomorrow.

It’s time to change our mindset toward implementing solutions. A vibrant, fair, and regenerative future is possible—not when thousands of people do climate justice activism perfectly but when millions of people do the best they can.

People in developed countries and big cities are too comfortable, and nothing changes when we stay in a state of unbotheredness. We need to be uncomfortable about the system to change it, and the youth are bringing the climate crisis to attention precisely to channel action out of uneasiness.

regeneration of Earth will require continuous dedication. It can’t be a hobby; it has to be a shift in culture and mindset.

human civilization needs to make drastic changes in its value system; it needs to mature.

You don’t have to know the details of the science to be part of the solution. And if you wait until you know everything, it will be too late for you to do anything.] That’s why we, the youth who are leading on climate, are calling this an emergency.

movements don’t alter history by saying: What if we don’t succeed?…Some things will never change….The odds seem really long….Maybe we’ll never get the right to vote, to marry, to be free….Without knowing the outcome, we have to try anyway; without a single guarantee, we must show up.
