Steve Garrett is a Cardiff-based social entrepreneur, writer, poet and musician. Originally from Wrexham, Steve spent many years living in Canada experiencing a range of different occupations before returning to settle in Wales, where he has set up and run several farmers markets amongst many other things.
Writing poetry helps Steve respond to all kinds of experiences that have amused, inspired, or angered him – hopefully entertaining readers as well as possibly informing and intriguing them. With these bursts of words he tries to share his inner and outer worlds, inspired by the belief that insightful words can help us know and appreciate each other better.
Writing from a male perspective, Steve hopes his work can speak to everyone, but especially to those men who maybe haven’t read much poetry before.
