Can a Narcissist be cured

It is very important to them to get their own way and that you don't call them out on any of the behaviour that they display.

As I have found out a number of times, anything you do that questions the Narcissist is a direct threat to them which will often end in anger. They are intolerant of any criticism and everything you say or do is taken personally.

A Narcissist suffers ironically from high sensitivity and being able to accept fault or blame completely destabilises everything they have built up.

selfish, unfeeling and intolerant behaviours will cause them great distress.

On the outside, they are fun, bubbly, lively, funny and great people to be around. They probably have a lot of acquaintances but few real friends and those that they do have will be seen as inferior by them.

To a Narcissist, it is all about the show they can perform to the outside world.

Their sense of self importance and lack of empathy mean that they are not open to admitting mistakes or that their behaviour needs to change.

Given the traits of a Narcissist, it is very difficult for them to accept blame.

You are what gives a Narcissist their power. They need this to survive and exist, and if you stop giving this power to them (their narcissistic supply) they will just look for the next source from which they can take it.

Their need for constant adoration and praise is the very fabric of who they are and to this end, they will never be the victim and will always need their prey.
