Like her great grandmother, ten times removed, Tessa made her living as a high-class sex worker, called a lorette. She shared another trait with her ancestor, her love of fighting. The lorette regularly fought in brutal fistfights in the town’s seedy fight clubs. She also faced angry wives in duels to the death.
When the priest, who raised her after her mother’s death, told her about clues to a treasure which her ancestor had hidden, the lorette set out to find these clues. But the women who owned these clues would not give them up without a fight.
