Communion is mercy, division is torment

One shall with leniency abstain from commanding and prohibiting things that it would not be possible for people to know and implement until the time when that becomes possible.

There is nothing about the Friends of God—the awliyā’—that outwardly distinguishes them from the rest of mankind with respect to the permissible. They do not wear anything specific and neither are they known to do anything specific with their hair … instead they are to be found amongst every category of the community of Muhammad (except the people of innovation and sin). They are found amongst the reciters of the Qur’an, the scholars, soldiers, traders, manufacturers and farmers

Fana’ is when one passes away in worship of God from the worship of all else other than Him. He passes away in obedience to Him from obedience to whatever is other than Him, in trust from trusting in anything other than Him, in hope in Him and fear of God, from hoping and fearing whatever is not Him. Thus he is with the Truth rather than with creation

Everything in the world is a Sign of the Creator, be it an insect, a sun, a stone, a river, a mountain, etc. The Signs are innumerable, and each and every one points to the one and only Creator.
