stop putting timelines and deadlines on your healing, and just be.

be kind to yourself, be patient with your process.

be a little selfish with your energy, and drink cups of self-love unapologetically

assumptions.

you don’t need to be what people assume you to be.

you’ll break your back carrying around illusions people have attached to you.

don’t let people clothe you in ideas and opinions that don’t fit your soul.

you are more than your vessel. you are stories, experiences, and poems all in one. you are love.

you were fine before them, you’ll be even better after them.

i distance myself from connections that suffocate my soul. i need to be able to come up for air. i need to be felt on a spiritual level. we need to be growing. we need to be learning from each other. we need to be able to fill spaces with much more than just beautiful noise.

hold on to your truth like gold.

keep some of yourself, to yourself.

love me deeply,

but let me breathe.

drowning me in love won’t make me stay.

my love needs air to survive.

your soul is not a doormat. your soul is not a landfill for people to dump their baggage. your soul is not a motel for temporary stay. being a good listener is important, but being heard is just as important. don’t let empathy and kindness fool you into forgetting your worth.

forgive the people who made you feel unlovable,

but more importantly, forgive yourself.
