This is the BEST Harlequin Presents I have ever read. Seriously. It's a lyrical, intense, and deeply emotional story about a man who has devoted his life to the duty to his kingdom. The heroine isn't typical for Presents (M&B Modern), and it's sexier than usual... I read the ebook from my library but just ordered a paperback version because I want to reread it, over and over. That's how good it is.

So...I realize that this is a deviation from my usual bookshelf recs, but right now, I'm in the mood for a TOTAL escape...as in, even from this planet! Yep, this is super-sexy alien romance. Grace Goodwin's ultra-alpha male warriors fall hard for Earthlings and want to keep them for themselves, even if romance on Earth doesn't quite work that way. Lots of sexiness ensues...

Charlotte Stein writes intense, thoughtful and kinky stories. Her characters feel REAL, never romanticize. I loved SWEET AGONY, so I'm adding this one to my bookshelf.

Aaah, another Lisa Kleypas gem. This one featured a forbidden romance between a high-born lady and a servant that was destroyed by the heroine's father, long ago. But when the hero comes back for revenge, everything has changed...or has it.
This book is probably my #2 favorite by LK, after Dreaming of You.

Lisa Kleypas is one of the all-time best historical romance authors, and this is one of her favorites: Evie, a wallflower with a stutter, propositions a notorious rake, and things get out of hand quickly. A gem.

Tessa Bailey is one of my absolute FAVORITE authors these days!! You should read anything by her that you can find - seriously. Her trilogy about NYC police academy recruits is unbelievably good. This is one of her earlier books, but you can still appreciate her humor, her super-sexy scenes and the way Louis falls for Roxy and loves so fully and beautifully.

YA romance at its finest! Love it.

When I open a Harlequin Presents, I know what I'm getting - OTT drama, wealth, luxury, deception, lust, betrayal...basically, the books dip into the fantasy genre. Some authors make this work better than others, and Maya Blake is one of my favorites! Especially love her heroes...

Lauren Blakely is one of the best sexy contemporary romance authors out there, and this book will show you why. Her sports heroes are fabulous: funny and sweet, and they fall head-over-heels in love with the heroines. Check this one out for a taste of this great author.

OMG. If you liked Priest, you're going to LOOOOOVE Sinner. Even thought it's only February, I'm pretty sure this will be on my top 5 list for 2019. It's that good. Sierra Simone plays out the emotional twists in this beautifully.

Jenny Hale specializes in Christmas romances. I've never actually read one of her books, but since I love this kind of read in December, I'm adding this one to my bookshelf.
