Part travel tales, part steamy romances, these books are about characters who visit a new places and fall in love.

Romance author Rebecca Hunter started this bookshelf to share her own To Be Read list + some of her favorites. She'd love to hear about yours, too!
Tessa Bailey is one of my absolute FAVORITE authors these days!! You should read anything by her that you can find - seriously. Her trilogy about NYC police academy recruits is unbelievably good. This is one of her earlier books, but you can still appreciate her humor, her super-sexy scenes and the way Louis falls for Roxy and loves so fully and beautifully.

YA romance at its finest! Love it.
Here's the concept: "What if all the crushes you ever had found out how you felt about them…all at once?"
When I open a Harlequin Presents, I know what I'm getting - OTT drama, wealth, luxury, deception, lust, betrayal...basically, the books dip into the fantasy genre. Some authors make this work better than others, and Maya Blake is one of my favorites! Especially love her heroes...
The Di Sione Secret Baby, Maya Blake
Lauren Blakely is one of the best sexy contemporary romance authors out there, and this book will show you why. Her sports heroes are fabulous: funny and sweet, and they fall head-over-heels in love with the heroines. Check this one out for a taste of this great author.
Out of Bounds, Lauren Blakely
OMG. If you liked Priest, you're going to LOOOOOVE Sinner. Even thought it's only February, I'm pretty sure this will be on my top 5 list for 2019. It's that good. Sierra Simone plays out the emotional twists in this beautifully.

Jenny Hale specializes in Christmas romances. I've never actually read one of her books, but since I love this kind of read in December, I'm adding this one to my bookshelf.
A Christmas to Remember, Jenny Hale
ooooh, this book is taboo, particularly if you are Catholic. It's also hot...

If you're curious, it's super-sexy and well written. If you think you might be offended, don't read it. Yep, she goes there.

Jill Shavis does sexy small-town romances very well, and this is the perfect time of the year for them.
Holiday Wishes, Jill Shalvis
Small town holiday romance in Destiny, Ohio. Sexy and emotional.
That time of the year is coming soon, and to kick it off on this bookshelf, let's start with something completely different: a paranormal Christmas!! In Transylvania, with vampire angels, no less. Only Sandra Hill, with her wacky, dry humor, can pull something like this off.
Christmas in Transylvania, Sandra Hill
Susan Elizabeth Phillips is an absolute master at hilarious, sexy conversations, quirky chemistry and slightly zany plots. This book features a prim English heroine and a pro golf playboy whose reputation has just taken a dive. Like all SEP books, there are some fantastic, laugh-aloud scenes in this one! Loved it.
Ooooh, Brenda Jackson is fantastic! This one features a geologist, a military dude, and South America = a sexy enemies-to-lovers story.
Fire and Desire, Brenda Jackson
So many great reasons to read this gem. Like the social commentary on high-glamour life in Singapore. Or the fairy-tale romance. Or the humor. You know you're curious...
A collection of small town Aussie cowboys and hot, hot nights!

Highlight: Look for Jackie Ashenden's story. She also writes for Harlequin DARE, and if you live in the UK, you can find our books together on the shelves in Jan 2019!
Oh, my--have y'all read Tessa Dare? Her banter between heroes and heroines is simply fantastic. The plot of this book rests on love letters from a made-up boyfriend...who shows up in the flesh, with real demands of his own. The shy, proper Englishwoman gets whisked off to untamed Scotland, of course.
One More Night, Rebecca Hunter
Just came back from a road trip to Wyoming, so I'm in a Western kind of mood. Both Delores Fossen and Kat Martin are excellent at transporting me to cowboy world, so this one looks perfect.
Sizzle? Yep.
OTT creepy hero at times? Yep.
Emotional and romantic? Yep, that, too.
You've been warned...
Not Just the Boss's Plaything, Caitlin Crews
Setting: Lake Como. Italian hero is a tortured, hard to like, sexy and downright mean at times. But sexy. Would never want a real guy like this, but in a book...
Marriage Made of Secrets, Maya Blake
An aristocratic Englishwoman defies her family, leaving to become an ambulance driver on the frontlines of WWI. Guess what? There's an attractive surgeon from her past there, someone who English class lines dictate she should stay far away from...
