• Ensuring that the workload matches with workers capabilities and resources.

• Designing jobs that are meaningful, stimulating and which provide workers with an opportunity to use their skills.
Evaluation – helps the organization to determine whether the intervention has been successful or not. It is important to conduct both long and short term evaluations in order to determine the effectiveness of the program.
Intervention – Once the sources of stress have been identified then the organization can propose and prioritize intervention strategies, communicate these interventions to employees and implement the interventions.
Problem Identification – this can be done through group discussions and/ or through formal surveys
